Meet Samantha Nirtaut

Samantha has been an educator since 2018 and is dedicated to continually expanding her knowledge. She holds a degree in Elementary Education from Indiana State University and a master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Purdue University. Beyond her formal education, Samantha has pursued additional opportunities to enhance the learning environment, including elective literacy training through the Institute of Multi-Sensory Education and game-based learning courses with Minecraft Education. She is also a certified teacher trainer specializing in Classroom Management through the Center for Teacher Effectiveness.

Her passion lies in improving the classroom experience for both students and educators. Samantha believes that recognizing what is within a teacher’s control and taking proactive steps—such as managing student behavior effectively and incorporating engaging, quality supplemental curriculum—are key to success.

She lives in Northwest Indiana with her family, where they enjoy spending time outdoors with their dog, bunny, and chickens, as well as gardening and exploring nature.
